WhatsApp Message Compliance Checker
Paste your message template and describe how you're sending it. This tool checks both against the patterns that most commonly get WhatsApp Business templates recategorized β or numbers restricted β before you find out the hard way.
This runs entirely in your browser β nothing you paste here is sent anywhere. It's a self-audit heuristic based on Meta's published policies, not an official template review.

Compliance Check
Checked just nowThis is a self-audit heuristic built from Meta's published WhatsApp Business Platform policies (see sources below) β not an official Meta review. It checks the message text and the sending practices you describe against the most common real-world causes of template recategorization and number restrictions; it can't see your actual account history or quality rating.
The Four WhatsApp Message Categories
Every template you submit gets validated against one of these β mismatching the category is one of the most common, avoidable mistakes.
Marketing
Promotions, offers, product launches, and any message whose goal is commercial or re-engagement. The highest per-message rate of the three.
Authentication
One-time passwords and login codes, in a specific short format with an auto-complete button. Kept narrow on purpose.
Utility
Order confirmations, shipping updates, appointment reminders β transactional messages tied to something the customer already did.
Why WhatsApp Business Numbers Actually Get Banned
It's rarely one dramatic mistake β it's usually one of a handful of well-documented patterns, most of which trace back to consent and volume rather than the message content itself.
Messaging without consent
The single biggest trigger. Recipients who never opted in are far more likely to report or block a message, and reports drag down the number's quality rating fast.
Purchased or scraped lists
Contacts who never gave a business their number have no reason not to hit "report spam" the first time they hear from it.
Sudden volume spikes
A number that jumps from its normal daily send volume to many times that looks like bulk/automated abuse to Meta's systems, even with fully consented contacts.
Wrong template category
Submitting promotional content as Utility to dodge the higher Marketing rate is a well-known pattern Meta actively screens for.
Prohibited or abusive content
Obscene, threatening, or abusive language breaks WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy regardless of category or consent, and is grounds for rejection on its own.

Spam-Trigger Language Isn't Industry-Specific
Beyond category mismatches and consent, the checker also screens for the well-documented phrases that email and SMS spam filters flag across every industry β not just promotional wording, but the finance, urgency, health, and scam-pattern language that gets recipients to report a message on sight. A message can be sent under the correct category, to a fully consented list, and still get reported if it reads like a scam.

A Checker Only Catches Half the Problem
Getting one message past a compliance check is one thing β running a WhatsApp number that stays in good standing month after month is another. Over 7+ years in performance marketing and automation, I've built WhatsApp automation on GoHighLevel that handles consent capture, template category selection, and gradual volume ramp-up correctly from the start β instead of finding out about a restriction after it happens.
